Compact ATEX 2GD industrial vacuum cleaner for Zone 1/21
The Tiger-Vac CD-4 EX (MFS) CAT. 2GD Z1/21 is a compact, explosion-proof industrial vacuum cleaner certified for use in hazardous areas with both flammable gases and combustible dust. The internal chamber is rated for Zone 0/20, while the external construction is certified for Zone 1/21, making it suitable for Dust Group IIIA, IIIB and IIIC, including conductive metal dust such as aluminium and magnesium.
Manual Filter Shaker (MFS)
This model is equipped with Tiger-Vac’s Manual Filter Shaker (MFS), which allows rapid and effective cleaning of the filter element without disassembly. The primary filter is an antistatic polyester element designed for long service life and stable performance with fine dry dust.
Large 56.8 L stainless steel recovery tank
The CD-4 EX features a heavy-duty 56.8 litre stainless steel recovery tank, offering high capacity for demanding industrial applications. Both the filter chamber and recovery tank are made from AISI 304 stainless steel, ensuring durability and excellent chemical resistance.
Powerful 4 kW EX motor for continuous duty
The vacuum is powered by a robust 3-phase 4 kW TEFC EX motor designed for 24/7 continuous operation. The external ATEX classification is Ex db h IIB T4 Gb for Zone 1, while the internal classification is Ex h IIC T6 Ga for Zone 0. Both the switch box and motor are IP65-rated.
HEPA H14 filtration available
For environments requiring extremely high filtration performance, an optional downstream HEPA H14 filter (99.995% at 0.3 µm) is available. All HEPA modules are aerosol leak-tested according to EN 1822 and IEST RP standards.
