The Tiger-Vac CD/EUR-36L EX DT (MFS) HEPA is a fully third-party ATEX/IECEx certified industrial vacuum cleaner designed for the safe recovery of combustible, explosive and conductive dusts in Zone 1 and Zone 21 environments. Internally, the system is certified for Zone 0/20 (Ga/Da), providing maximum protection when handling combustible dust inside the filter chamber and recovery tank. Built entirely in AISI 304 stainless steel and equipped with an integrated upstream HEPA H14 filter as standard, the unit is ideal for pharmaceutical production, cleanrooms, chemical industries, metal powders and additive manufacturing.
- External classification: II 1/2GD – approved for Zone 1 (gas) and Zone 21 (dust).

Technical design and filtration
The CD/EUR-36L EX DT (MFS) HEPA combines maximum safety and efficient dust recovery in ATEX environments. The integrated upstream HEPA H14 filter is tested according to EN 1822 and IEST-RP-CC001 (MPPS). The PTFE star-shaped main filter provides a large surface area of 8,584 cm² and is cleaned manually using the MFS system without compressed air. ULPA U15 filtration is available for applications requiring ISO Class 4 cleanroom compatibility.

Technical note
The internal Zone 0/20 certification is crucial for combustible and conductive dust applications, as it eliminates potential ignition sources within the vacuum cleaner through the Ex h protection principles. The system is tested as a complete unit by NB 0081. When recovering metal powders, pyrotechnic dusts or other highly conductive materials, EX-approved tools and grounded static-dissipative hoses must be used as part of a properly bonded grounding system.

What is the difference between the 36 L and 25 L models?
