The Tiger-Vac EXP1-10 (IT-40L) EX DT (CFE) HEPA is designed for the most hazardous cleaning tasks in indoor shooting ranges. With Notified Body certification (LCIE 03 ATEX 6297) and H14 HEPA filtration, it neutralizes both lead and gunpowder dust in full compliance with the strictest EU ATEX and occupational health requirements.
Certified safety – ATEX Zone 21
Inside, the vacuum operates in a Zone 20 environment, where dust concentration is always high. That is why the EXP1-10 is certified for use in Zone 21 (II 2D / Db), with documented safety through liquid bath technology. Dust is immediately neutralized in inert oil, preventing sparks and heat buildup – a solution tested and certified by Notified Body 0081.
Why the liquid bath is essential
Experience from both the USA and Europe shows that standard ATEX vacuums are not enough in Zone 21. Dry collection can generate static electricity and ignite gunpowder dust. With the EXP1-10’s liquid bath, this risk is eliminated because the dust is instantly isolated, cooled, and neutralized in liquid before reaching the motor or filters.
Complete protection and efficient operation
The EXP1-10 combines H14 HEPA filtration (99.995% retention at MPPS according to EN 1822) with full ESD grounding, a CFE coalescer for moisture, and a robust stainless-steel construction. The detachable 40-liter tank ensures safe disposal of contaminated material, while its compact design provides mobility even in confined facilities.
