Why this hose?
ARIAFORM/DIN combines industrial robustness with a specific resistance profile. TPE (thermoplastic elastomer), DIN spec provides both pressure capacity and compatibility with the media typical in the industry segment.
The hose is constructed for continuous industrial operation -- daily pressure cycle, mechanical wear and temperature variation across the year. The difference to a standard hose lies in the material's formulation and the reinforcement's dimensioning.
In daily use the hose's life cycle is 5-10 years depending on load. Preventive maintenance with annual inspection extends the service life and prevents sudden failures that can shut down an entire production line.
Where it is used
The hose typically sits between a compressor and a pneumatic tool or air gun. UV resistance allows it to lie visibly on construction sites and in semi-covered workshops without degradation.
Oil resistance is essential when the compressed air contains oil mist from the compressor's lubrication. Typical rubber wall swells up and degrades after only months of oil exposure -- ARIAFORM is specifically formulated to resist this.
The Yellow variant is the toughest for heavy-duty -- typically production and industrial workshops with continuous use. The TPU variant is the lightest, typically used on reel systems where low weight is important.
ARIAFORM is colloquially known as a compressed-air hose, compressor hose or tool hose.

Standards and compliance
The hose is manufactured in accordance with the following standards.
- EN ISO 1307:2008. European standard for rubber pressure hoses for general applications.
- EN 12115. Thermoplastic pressure hose standard, often referenced for chemical and oil-resistant applications.
- RoHS directive (2011/65/EU). Restriction of hazardous substances; manufacturer declaration available.
- REACH (EC 1907/2006). Registration, evaluation and authorisation of chemical substances.
- ISO 9001. The manufacturer's quality management system is certified to ISO 9001.
- EN ISO 8033. Pressure hose standard for indoor and outdoor service.
- UV resistance. Yellow, DIN and 15 variants are tested for UV and ozone resistance per the manufacturer's standard.

Industries that use it
The ARIAFORM series is industrial air and pressure hoses for pneumatic tools, compressor connection and general compressed-air distribution. Robust, flexible and UV-resistant.
ARIAFORM is used across workshops, construction sites and industry as the flexible link between compressor and tool. TPE and TPU formulations provide both robust abrasion resistance and low weight -- a combination that classical rubber hose cannot offer.
In industry and auto workshops, oil resistance is decisive. Standard PVC and rubber hoses fail quickly under constant oil-mist exposure, while ARIAFORM retains flexibility and seal through years of use.
The Yellow, DIN and 15 variants are TPE-based with different toughness classes; the TPU variant is polyurethane and is the lightest most flexible. Choose the variant according to the actual mechanical and chemical load.
Custom lengths and assemblies
The hose can be delivered cut to desired lengths. The standard roll lengths can be supplemented with shorter pieces or continuous rolls by arrangement.

Frequently asked questions
Can ARIAFORM lie outside in sun and weather?
Yes - the DIN, Yellow and 15 variants are UV- and ozone-resistant and can lie visibly on construction sites and in semi-covered workshops without degradation. The TPU variant is not specifically UV-resistant and should be protected from direct sun.
What is the difference between Yellow, DIN, 15 and TPU?
Yellow is heavy-duty TPE for the most demanding industrial applications. DIN is medium-duty TPE per DIN standard. 15 is medium-duty TPE generally. TPU is polyurethane - the lightest, most flexible, ideal for reel mounting. Choose according to load and mounting situation.
Can ARIAFORM transport oil-laden compressed air?
Yes - all ARIAFORM variants are oil-resistant (against oil-laden compressed air, not liquid oil). Standard rubber hoses swell up after only months of oil exposure, while ARIAFORM's TPE/TPU formulation resists this through years of use.
What maximum pressure does ARIAFORM support?
Max. working pressure varies per variant -- typically 10-15 bar depending on diameter. Burst pressure is about 4x working pressure. Check the dimension table for the specific product.
Which couplings are recommended?
For 1/4" to 1" diameter, push-fit quick couplings are recommended. For larger diameter, worm-drive clamps or threaded fittings are used. We are happy to advise on compatible accessories.
How long does ARIAFORM last?
Service life depends on load, temperature and oil exposure. In daily workshop use, 5-10 years is typical. The Yellow variant in industrial applications can last 10-15 years. Annual inspection of couplings is recommended.
Can the hose be delivered in other lengths?
Yes - the standard roll lengths can be supplemented with shorter pieces or continuous rolls by arrangement. We have a wide range of couplings to make complete assemblies.
How do I store the hose?
Store dry at room temperature, protected from direct UV light (especially TPU). The hose can be rolled up without damage and is typically delivered on a roll.
