CARBOFLEX®/GRECATO
Oil-resistant suction and pressure hose with extremely small bend radius and high flexibility. Designed for fuel transport and hydraulic oil return in installations where space is critical. NBR inner tube tolerates up to 50% aromatic content. The special corrugated construction ("GRECATO") provides smaller bend radius than standard CARBOFLEX variants.

Why this hose?
CARBOFLEX®/GRECATO is the flexible variant of the CARBOFLEX range — the special corrugated outer cover ("GRECATO" is Italian for "Greek-patterned") provides significantly smaller bend radius than standard CARBOFLEX/EN.
This makes the hose ideal in installations where space is limited — e.g. on campers, mobile tank trucks or in engine rooms where fuel piping must follow complex routings.
Where it is used
In marine it sits in engine rooms and bunkering installations where space is tight.
In hydraulic systems it's used for oil return on swivel arms and similar mobile components.
In everyday talk we call it a "GRECATO" — the characteristic corrugated outer cover is the first thing you recognise.

Fields without a value (—) are not specified in the manufacturer's factsheet. Overpressure and underpressure values are recommended operating limits; the product can be subjected to higher loads on request. Bend radius is measured along the inside of the hose bend.
Standards and compliance

Help with material selection
If you're choosing a hose and are unsure about the right resistance level or zone classification, these two articles are a good place to start:

Industries that use it
CARBOFLEX®/GRECATO is used where fuel distribution must combine with tight installations:
In marine and hydraulics it's specifically chosen because the small bend radius makes complex installations possible.
In transport it's standard on campers and smaller tank vehicles.
Custom lengths and assemblies
The hose is delivered on rolls and cut to length with couplings as a finished assembly.
For serial deliveries we can establish consistent assembly.

Frequently asked questions
What does GRECATO mean?
Italian for "Greek-patterned" — refers to the characteristic corrugated outer cover resembling Greek ornamental patterns. It provides significantly smaller bend radius than smooth exterior.
What's the difference between GRECATO and standard CARBOFLEX/EN?
GRECATO is optimised for smaller bend radius via the corrugated construction. CARBOFLEX/EN is optimised for EN 12115:2021 compliance for tank trucks. Choose GRECATO when space is tight; choose EN when authority approval per EN 12115 is required.
Does it tolerate unleaded petrol?
Yes. The NBR inner tube tolerates fuel with up to 50% aromatic content.
Does the hose need to be grounded?
Yes. The antistatic property only works with correct grounding.
Is it ATEX-approved?
It's antistatic-marked but not formally ATEX-marked like EN 12115. For ATEX compliance choose CARBOFLEX/EN.
Can I get it with Camlock?
Yes. We fit Camlock or specific marine couplings as a finished assembly.
