INDUCORD TC
INDUCORD TC is the general industrial pressure hose (Type C) for medium-duty chemicals, oils and solvents. Standard textile reinforcement, robust rubber wall.
- EN 12115
- -30 to +80 C
- Robust
- REACH/RoHS
- Flexible
- Industrial
Why this hose?
INDUCORD TC combines industrial robustness with a specific resistance profile. Rubber with textile reinforcement provides both pressure capacity and compatibility with the media typical in the industry segment.
The hose is constructed for continuous industrial operation -- daily pressure cycle, mechanical wear and temperature variation across the year. The difference to a standard hose lies in the material's formulation and the reinforcement's dimensioning.
In daily use the hose's life cycle is 5-10 years depending on load. Preventive maintenance with annual inspection extends the service life and prevents sudden failures that can shut down an entire production line.
Where it is used
INDUCORD is typically used as a permanent transport line between a cistern and a process, or as a mobile section between a pump and a discharge point.
Multi-layer textile reinforcement provides high burst pressure margin, which is necessary in high-pressure processes or pressure pulsing.
The fibreglass variant can withstand higher temperatures than standard textile reinforcement, making it suitable for hot process fluids and steam.
INDUCORD is colloquially known as an industrial pressure hose, chemical hose or petrochemical hose.

Standards and compliance
The hose is manufactured in accordance with the following standards.
- EN 12115. Rubber and thermoplastic pressure hoses for chemical handling. INDUCORD meets Type 1 / Type 2 depending on variant.
- EN ISO 1307:2008. European standard for rubber pressure hoses for general applications.
- EN 1761. Fire service hose standard, referenced in firefighting variants.
- ISO 7840. Fire-resistant hose for marine fuel applications.
- EN ISO 8031. Measurement of electrical resistance in rubber hoses.
- RoHS directive (2011/65/EU). Restriction of hazardous substances.
- ISO 9001. The manufacturer's quality management system is certified.

Industries that use it
The INDUCORD series is industrial rubber pressure hoses with textile or steel-wire reinforcement, for demanding chemical, petrochemical and industrial applications.
INDUCORD is used in demanding industrial applications where pressure resistance, chemical resistance and temperature capacity must combine. The different variants are built for specific industrial needs.
The fibreglass variant is developed for hot environments where temperatures above 100 C are normal. The TC and Lancia variants have different pressure and chemical resistance profiles.
The hose is used across chemical, petrochemical, marine, fire service and industry segments. Choose variant according to the specific combination of pressure, temperature and chemical.
Custom lengths and assemblies
The hose can be delivered cut to desired lengths. The standard roll lengths can be supplemented with shorter pieces or continuous rolls by arrangement.

Frequently asked questions
Which chemicals can INDUCORD handle?
Resistance depends on the variant. INDUCORD-Lancia and INDUCORD-TC handle typical oil, petrol and solvents. INDUCORD Fibreglass is intended for hot media up to 200 C. Check the resistance table for the specific chemical or contact us.
What does Fibreglass mean in INDUCORD-Fibreglass?
Fibreglass refers to the reinforcement in the wall - fibreglass tape instead of textile. Fibreglass provides higher temperature capacity (up to 200 C continuously), which is essential for hot process fluids, steam and hot-air installations.
What is the difference between Lancia and TC?
Lancia is a specialised variant for marine mooring and bunkering applications. TC (Type C) is a general industrial variant with medium chemical resistance. Choose variant according to the application.
Which couplings are recommended?
For INDUCORD, swaged-on industrial couplings with documented pressure rating are recommended. Worm-drive clamps can be used at low pressure. We are happy to advise on compatible accessories and supply complete assemblies.
How long does INDUCORD last in daily operation?
Service life depends on pressure cycle, temperature and chemical exposure. In typical industrial use, 5-10 years is typical. Annual pressure testing and coupling inspection are recommended.
Can the hose be delivered in other lengths?
Yes - roll lengths can be supplemented with cut pieces or continuous rolls by arrangement. Send us your application and we will find the right variant.
Should INDUCORD be inspected regularly?
Yes - all high-pressure hoses should be inspected annually for wear, cracks, coupling integrity and pressure testing. The manufacturer recommends replacement every 5-10 years depending on load.
Is INDUCORD ATEX approved?
Certain variants have ATEX marking for electrical conductivity. Check the specific factsheet for ATEX rating. We always recommend earthing for high-pressure petroleum and chemical applications.
