Why this hose?
WELLFLEX PVC 111 AD is a PVC protection hose with a spiral of plastic-coated spring steel wire. It is highly flexible, compressible and liquid-tight.
The hose is flame-retardant to UL94-HB and withstands temperatures from −20°C to +70°C, short-term up to +80°C.
Where it is used
The hose protects cables in machines and plants against liquids and mechanical stress.
The manufacturer names industry and medical technology as the typical applications.
In everyday talk we call it a cable protection conduit.

Bend radius is the manufacturer's value measured to the hose centre. Inner Ø 6.9 to 48.6 mm corresponds to nominal width for connecting parts 10, 14, 17, 19, 21, 27, 36, 45, 52 and 56 mm. Dynamic bend radius (for repeated movement) for nominal width 10, 14, 17, 19, 21, 27, 36, 45, 52 and 56 mm is 28, 40, 48, 55, 60, 75, 100, 124, 143 and 154 mm respectively.

Custom lengths and assemblies
All ten sizes come in 10 m rolls. Sizes up to and including 27 mm are also available in 50 m, the larger ones in 25 m. We cut the hose to length.
Frequently asked questions
Is it ATEX-approved?
No. There is no ATEX documentation for the hose, and we do not offer it for use in Ex zones.
What does UL94-HB mean?
UL94 is a flammability classification for plastics. HB is the lowest class: the material burns slowly in a horizontal test, below a set burning rate. It is not self-extinguishing like classes V-0 to V-2.
Which sizes are available?
Ten sizes with inner diameter from 6.9 to 48.6 mm, corresponding to nominal width 10 to 56 mm for connecting parts.
Can it be used where the cables move?
Yes. The manufacturer states a dynamic bend radius for each size, from 28 mm for the smallest to 154 mm for the largest. It is given below the table and in the datasheet.
Can I get it cut to length?
Yes. We cut the hose to length.
