Depureco CVS 110 Z22

The Depureco CVS 110 Z22 is a central ATEX vacuum unit for Zone 22 (external) -- delivered WITHOUT integrated filter and WITHOUT container. A 11-15 kW 3D ATEX-certified side-channel blower (top-mounted in a sound-insulated cabinet) delivers 920 m3/h at 300 mBar vacuum and 74 dB(A). The unit **must be mandatorily combined with a separate filtration and collection unit** (DV AIR, DV AIR WB or HF Z22) -- the CVS alone is just the prime mover of the installation. Remote vacuum control, pressure-relief valve and inlet silencer (O130 connection to O70/100/130 hose via P12780) are included from the factory. An optional HEPA H14 secondary filter (110,000 cm2 fiberglass) can be added. Footprint 821x1319 mm, height 1792 mm, IP55, insulation class F. Inlet O102 mm. ATEX marking II 3 D Ex htc IIIB T140 Dc.

Questions and answers

What does the ATEX marking II 3 D Ex htc IIIB T140 Dc mean?

The unit is EU-type approved under ATEX directive 2014/34/EU for operation in external Zone 22 (dust, low risk). 'Ex h' is the constructional safety type per EN ISO 80079-36/37, and 'tc' specifies the enclosure protection level against dust ignition. 'IIIB' covers non-conductive dust (paper, fibre, grain etc.) -- class IIIC (conductive metallic dust) requires separate approval. 'T140' is the maximum surface temperature in operation (140 degrees C). 'Dc' is the EPL code for Zone 22.

Why does CVS Z22 have no built-in filter or container?

CVS Z22 is designed as a modular central system. It contains only the vacuum unit -- motor and ATEX side-channel blower in a sound-insulated cabinet -- without filter and without container. That gives freedom to tailor the rest of the installation to the process: the filter is chosen for the dust type (class M, H13 or H14), and the collection is chosen for the duty cycle (continuous discharge via big-bag or Longopac, rotary valve + container, or integrated container as on DV AIR WB). The catalogue states it directly: 'CVS vacuum units must be mandatorily combined with a filtration and collection unit' -- CVS is the prime mover, and the filter/collection unit is the other half of the solution.

Which filter units can CVS Z22 be combined with?

Three main options: (1) **HF Z22** series -- central-system filter without container, where dust is discharged continuously via big-bag, Longopac, rotary valve or direct pipe to process. Suits when bin emptying isn't practical. (2) **DV AIR** / **DV AIR Z22** -- large-format filter unit (1700 or 2700 m3/h, 4 or 7 cartridges) without integrated container, combined with DISCHARGE SYSTEMS (flaps, rotary valve, butterfly) or a pre-separator (FILTER HOPPER). (3) **DV AIR WB** / **DV AIR WB Z22** -- filter unit with 175 L integrated stainless-steel container. We help match the filter unit to your CVS model based on airflow, vacuum and discharge needs.

What is the sweet spot for Depureco CVS 110 Z22?

Depureco CVS 110 Z22 delivers 920 m3/h at 300 mBar vacuum with O102 mm inlet. Power class is 11-15 kW. Choose it when the pipe network pressure drop and the number of take-off points match this profile -- see the model comparison on the category page to put all six CVS variants side by side.

What are the installation requirements for CVS Z22?

The CVS unit is 821x1319 mm and 1792 mm tall, delivered without filter unit. The customer must ensure: (1) grounding of chassis and all metallic pipes in the suction circuit -- ATEX requirement for Zone 22 equipment to avoid electrostatic charging; (2) 400 V / 50-60 Hz three-phase supply; (3) free air around the cabinet for cooling and sound attenuation; (4) installation and dimensioning of a compatible filter and collection unit (see FAQ above) -- without one, CVS cannot be commissioned. IP55 and insulation class F make the unit suited to plant environments, technical rooms and under canopies.

Does Particulair handle installation and service?

Yes. We offer both installation and commissioning of central ATEX systems and mobile solutions, and ensure the equipment is installed correctly, documented and adjusted to your environment. For CVS Z22 the installation includes ATEX documentation, grounding, pipe dimensioning, matching of filter/collection unit and commissioning. We also offer service agreements with planned inspections, spare-parts access and ongoing ATEX review. See 'About Particulair' for geographic coverage.
