PROTAPE® PUR 327 MEMORY
Crush-resistant suction and pressure hose in food-grade PUR, abrasion-resistant and designed for municipal vehicles (toilet discharging, septic). The memory property means the hose returns to its original shape after compression — critical on vehicles where the hose is often stepped on or compressed.

Why this hose?
PROTAPE® PUR 327 MEMORY has a specific property: after being compressed or deformed the hose returns to its original shape. This is critical on municipal vehicles where the hose is often stepped on, compressed between objects or rolled over edges.
Food-grade compliance means the hose can be used for drinking water installations on campers without risk of contamination.
Where it is used
On municipal septic vehicles it sits as connection between tank and suction wand.
In campers it's used for both drinking water distribution and toilet discharging.
The memory property ensures the hose doesn't permanently deform during daily handling.
In everyday talk we call it a "memory PUR" — the characteristic shape "memory" is what matters.

Help with material selection
Although this hose isn't ATEX-relevant, these two articles provide useful background on electrical resistance and industrial safety — important if you later combine the hose with electrical equipment or work in mixed environments:
The invisible weakest link
Why a conductive or antistatic hose isn't sufficient on its own — and what grounding means for the complete system.
Know your ohm
The difference between antistatic and conductive, which resistance limits apply where, and how to measure them correctly.
Industries that use it
PROTAPE® PUR 327 MEMORY is used on municipal vehicles and campers:
In municipal services it's standard choice on septic vehicles.
In camper industry it's used for the entire drinking water and drainage system.
Custom lengths and assemblies
The hose is delivered on rolls and cut to length with couplings as a finished assembly.
For serial deliveries we can establish consistent assembly.

Frequently asked questions
What does "memory" mean?
The PUR wall has a specific formulation that makes the hose return to its original shape after compression or deformation. This prevents permanent flow restriction from daily handling.
What's the difference between 327 MEMORY and 327 PP?
MEMORY is food-grade and crush-resistant. PP is antistatic and specifically designed for CT/MRI air applications. Choose MEMORY for sanitary vehicles; choose PP for medical equipment.
Does it tolerate drinking water?
EU 10/2011 covers food compatibility. For formal drinking water approval in specific countries cross-check with us.
Does it tolerate toilet discharging?
Yes — it's one of the hose's primary applications. The PUR wall resists common sanitary media at operating temperatures.
Is it ATEX-approved?
No, the MEMORY version is insulating.
Can I get it with Camlock?
Yes. Camlock is standard on municipal vehicles — we fit it as a finished assembly.
