Why this hose?
NORPLAST® PVC 379 COSMO®/ELASTICO is a light, versatile suction and pressure hose — designed for the many small tasks in agriculture and light industry where water, fertiliser or light granulates must be moved between tank, pump and equipment.
The characteristic dark green colour makes it easy to distinguish from other hoses in a mixed fleet — particularly important on field machines where multiple hoses are often parallel. White PVC spiral visible through the transparent outer cover.
Where it is used
On agricultural mobile installations it's a standard choice when water or liquid fertiliser must be moved — between tank and equipment, between field and machine. The EN ISO 1307:2008 conformity ensures the hose dimensions match industry couplings.
In light industry it's used in smaller dimensions as a universal hose for water-based media and light powder applications.
In everyday talk we call it an "agri suction hose" — the dark green colour is the first thing you recognise.

In agriculture it's the classic universal suction hose for water and fertiliser handling. Mobile installations benefit from dark green colour coding.
In light industry it's used for general transport of water-based media and light powders — the price/performance ratio is attractive for non-demanding applications.
Custom lengths and assemblies
The hose is delivered on 50 m rolls. We cut to length and fit quick-connects or standard fittings.

Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between NORPLAST® PVC 379 and PVC 380 GREEN?
PVC 379 is an ordinary agri suction hose without food-grade approval — suitable for water, fertilisers and light media. PVC 380 GREEN is food-grade certified (EU 10/2011 cat A·B·C) and can be used for drinking water and food-compatible media. Choose 379 for non-food applications; choose 380 GREEN for the food chain.
What does EN ISO 1307:2008 mean?
International standard specifying dimensions and tolerances for industrial hoses. Conformity ensures the hose matches standard couplings and fittings — important when the hose must connect to other standardised components.
Does it tolerate fertiliser concentrates?
PVC has good chemical resistance to diluted fertiliser solutions and common liquid fertilisers. For high-concentrated acid or base-based concentrates the material should be cross-checked against the resistance table.
How hot water does it tolerate?
Up to +60 °C continuous. This covers normal field irrigation and light tank applications. For warmer media choose a PUR-based hose (NORFLEX® PUR 441 FOOD tolerates up to +90 °C).
Is it ATEX-approved?
No. The PVC wall is insulating without conductive or antistatic properties.
Can I get it with quick-connects?
Yes. For mobile agricultural applications quick-connects are practical — we fit them permanently as a finished assembly based on your specific coupling system (Geka, Camlock, or others).
