Extremely kink-resistant supply hose specially designed for seeding facilities in agriculture. Dark grey rigid PVC spiral, transparent outer cover. Service from −15 °C to +60 °C. UV- and ozone-resistant. Optimised for transport of seeds and solid fertilisers from the supply tank to the seeding mouth — critical is that the hose follows the machine's movements without kinking or compressing (which would stop the seed flow).

Why this hose?
NORPLAST® PVC COSMO® ELASTICO SEEDER is specially formulated for seeding facilities. Kink resistance is the critical parameter — on a seeding machine the hose constantly moves with the ground topography and the machine's swings, and if the hose kinks or compresses, seed flow stops and the row becomes empty.
The extra spiral density (compared to standard COSMO ELASTICO) provides the shape stability that makes the hose kink-resistant even at sharp bends. UV and ozone resistance ensures long lifetime in outdoor agriculture.
Where it is used
On seeding machines the hose sits between the seed tank and the individual seeding mouths. Each mouth typically has its own hose, and simultaneously the hoses must follow the machine's vibrations and movements without losing flow.
In fertiliser distribution it's used for transport of pelleted fertilisers from supply to dosing points on the field machine.
In everyday talk we call it a "sowing hose" or "COSMO SEEDER" — it's the specific kink-resistant variant for seeding facilities.

Custom lengths and assemblies
The hose is delivered on 50 m rolls. We cut to length and fit quick-connects or standard fittings for seeding machines.

Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between SEEDER and standard COSMO ELASTICO?
SEEDER has extra spiral density making it kink-resistant — critical on seeding machines where kinks would stop seed flow. Standard COSMO ELASTICO is an ordinary flexible suction hose without the specific kink resistance.
Does it tolerate solid fertilisers?
Yes. PVC has good chemical resistance to most granulated fertilisers at operating temperatures.
How kink-resistant is it?
Specifically designed for the small bend radii that occur on seeding machines. Specific values are in the dimension table.
Does it tolerate UV?
Yes. UV- and ozone-resistant — important for hoses used outdoors all season.
Is it ATEX-approved?
No. The PVC wall is insulating.
Can I get it with quick-connects?
Yes. For mobile agricultural installations quick-connects are practical — we fit them as a finished assembly.
