Why this hose?
WELLFLEX PUR 118 AD is a robust PUR protection hose with a spiral of plastic-coated spring steel wire. It is highly abrasion-resistant, highly flexible, compressible and oil-resistant.
The hose is liquid-tight, approved to DIN EN 50369 and withstands temperatures from −40°C to +90°C, short-term up to +125°C.
Where it is used
The hose protects cables where there is wear, oil or liquid, for example on machines and in plants.
The manufacturer names industry and medical technology as the typical applications.

Custom lengths and assemblies
All ten sizes come in 10 m rolls. Sizes up to and including 27 mm are also available in 50 m, the larger ones in 25 m. We cut the hose to length.
Frequently asked questions
Is it ATEX-approved?
No. There is no ATEX documentation for the hose, and we do not offer it for use in Ex zones.
What does IP 68 mean here?
The manufacturer states up to IP 68 to EN/IEC 60529 depending on the design. IP 68 means dust-tight and protected against continuous immersion in water.
Which sizes are available?
Ten sizes with inner diameter from 6.9 to 48.6 mm, corresponding to nominal width 10 to 56 mm for connecting parts.
Can it be used where the cables move?
Yes. The manufacturer states a dynamic bend radius for each size, from 28 mm for the smallest to 154 mm for the largest. It is given below the table and in the datasheet.
