Who we are

We help you choose correctly — in environments where mistakes are not an option

Particulair provides equipment and decision support for those working in environments where dust, granulate or process conditions can threaten people, machinery and surroundings. We help find solutions that hold up — technically, regulatorily and in practice.

We are not a webshop — we are your specialist shortcut

We are passionate about making complex regulations and standards comprehensible: the ATEX directive, EN 17348, IEC 60335-2-69, H-class, GMP and environmental requirements. We translate them into clear recommendations and practical equipment — and into complete system solutions when required.

Critical environments can include ATEX zones, OEB-classified facilities and cleanrooms — but also dust with health risks, abrasive or adhesive materials, or situations where the heavy and difficult transport of granulate requires something special. Whatever the problem, we help clarify the requirements and find equipment that is demonstrably safe and fit for purpose.

  • Industrial vacuum cleaners and particle extractors for Zone 20, 21 and 22
  • Central vacuum systems and high-vacuum installations
  • Pneumatic conveyors for dust and granulates
  • Process extraction for production environments and machinery
  • Solutions for OEB, H-class and filtration requirements
  • Hoses and accessories with measurable electrical conductivity
  • Inert systems for spontaneously flammable substances
  • OEM solutions for machine builders and system integrators

CO₂-neutral green electricity in our operations

Our history

From Novo Nordisk to the Nordic region’s leading specialist

Particulair became part of the pharmaceutical ecosystem in 1991 — not with ambitions to supply the world’s largest companies, but because a production department in Novo Nordisk’s insulin manufacturing asked for our help. They wanted a small, compact vacuum cleaner that was quieter than the old models — ideally with a HEPA filter and straightforward handling.

Back then, validation, airborne risks and particle levels were somewhat abstract concepts when talking about vacuum cleaners. But requirements evolved, and so did we. Today we advise some of the largest players in pharma, biotech and highly specialised laboratories.

When we step into a production environment, we do not just see hoses and machines — we see airways, flow directions, risk assessments and validation requirements. We ask questions the customer understands, and we collaborate with leading manufacturers to deliver equipment that is ready for the next set of requirements, not just the current ones.

Our approach

We think long-term — and sustainably

All our solutions are chosen with an eye for long service life, low operational burden and high safety. We are not interested in selling something that needs replacing in two years — we are interested in your equipment working and meeting requirements for many years to come.

We use 100 % CO₂-neutral green electricity in our operations and prioritise partners who share the desire to minimise environmental impact and comply with applicable standards.

We are not a webshop. We have no basket, checkout or standard online prices. This is a deliberate choice: the environments we supply are too complex for equipment purchases to happen without dialogue. Choosing equipment for ATEX zones, OEB-classified facilities or ISO-certified cleanrooms requires a conversation.

We install — and we stay

When you choose Particulair, you are not just choosing a supplier. You are choosing a partner who ensures your equipment is installed correctly, documented and tuned to your environment.

We offer installation, commissioning and service on both central systems and mobile solutions — and make sure all equipment is continuously maintained and complies with applicable requirements, including ATEX inspection, filter replacement and annual servicing.

HARDO partnership

Explosion-proof fixed-installation equipment and lighting

Particulair is the Danish distributor of HARDO, manufactured by Grupa WOLFF in Poland. The HARDO range covers fixed electrical equipment for ATEX zones: junction boxes, control panels, Ex cable glands, connectors and socket outlets, as well as lighting for zone 1, 2, 21 and 22.

All HARDO products are certified in accordance with the ATEX directive (2014/34/EU) and the IECEx standard, and carry CE marking. They are manufactured to ISO 9001 and are suitable for use in chemical, petrochemical and process-related industries.

Geographic regions

Our market and network

We serve production and process environments throughout the EU — with a particular focus on Scandinavia and Poland — working closely with end users, engineers and OEM manufacturers.

We believe in relationships, expertise and technical solutions that can withstand real-world demands. Not in standard solutions sent in a box without any dialogue.

If you have a project, a challenge or a question about the requirements in your environment, you are always welcome to contact us directly. We normally respond within one business day.
