About Tiger-Vac CD/EUR-25L EX DT (MFS)
The CD/EUR-25L EX DT (MFS) is a compact yet fully capable explosion proof vacuum designed for smaller pharmaceutical production lines, pilot batches and API support operations. Certified ATEX II 1/2 GD, it operates safely in Zones 0–2 gas and Zones 20–22 dust. The compact 25 L tank and reduced footprint make this model ideal for crowded cleanroom environments where floor space is at a premium.
The true cyclone separator at the inlet is the defining feature of this design. As dust-laden air enters the vacuum, the cyclone pre-separates large and medium particles before they reach the filter cartridge. This dramatically extends filter life, maintains consistent suction performance over longer collection cycles, and reduces filter-shaking frequency. For industrial applications with high dust throughput, the cyclone extends filter replacement intervals from hours to days or weeks.
Filtration is based on a conductive star-shaped cartridge with cage and manual filter shaking (MFS) as standard. Both HEPA H14 (99.995% at 0.3 micron) and ULPA U15 (99.9995% at 0.18 micron) are available as downstream upgrade options. Choose HEPA for general pharmaceutical operations and ISO 4–5 cleanroom support. Choose ULPA when handling highly potent APIs with strict occupational exposure limits.
With a 2.2 kW (400 V three-phase) or 1.5 kW (230 V single-phase) TEFC motor, the unit delivers 212 m³/h airflow at 2,540 mmH₂O maximum vacuum. The detachable 25 L tank is lighter to handle than larger models and ensures easy batch separation. The entire structure is fully antistatic (below 10 ohm) and explosion protected. ISO 4 cleanroom compatible when fitted with HEPA or ULPA filtration.

Frequently Asked Questions
A true cyclone uses centrifugal force to separate heavy particles from the airstream at the inlet. Air spirals down the cyclone cone, and gravity pulls large dust particles outward and downward into the tank. Fine particles continue upward to the filter cartridge. This pre-separation extends filter life significantly and maintains suction performance.
This model ships with a conductive star-shaped cartridge rated for general pharmaceutical dust. If your API requires HEPA (99.995%) or ULPA (99.9995%) filtration, both are available as downstream upgrade options. This flexibility allows you to customize filtration to match your batch requirements without paying for unnecessary filtration on every cycle.
The 25 L model is compact and uses manual filter shaking (MFS) with a built-in cyclone separator. The 36 L models include ULPA U15 as standard and are available in both MFS and MRP (compressed air) cleaning variants. Both are ATEX II 1/2 GD. Choose the 25 L for smaller batches and pilot lines; choose the 36 L for high-volume pharmaceutical production requiring the highest filtration.
A conductive polyliner bag is a disposable liner that fits inside the tank. After collection, operators remove the full bag and seal it without exposing the collected powder. The conductive material dissipates static charge, preventing spark ignition. It accelerates cleanup and reduces cross-contamination between batches. Optional on this model.
Yes. The compact footprint and sealed construction make it suitable for ISO 4–5 cleanroom environments when fitted with HEPA or ULPA filtration. The cyclone separator reduces particle load on the downstream filter, ensuring consistent exhaust quality. A stainless steel cart with ESD wheels is available as an upgrade for full cleanroom compatibility.
Ambient operating temperature range is –5 to +37 degrees Celsius. If handling warm dust or steam-processed materials, consult Tiger-Vac to verify suitability and any required insulation modifications.
