Delfin DG70 EXP EX1/2D is a larger dust collector designed for permanent installation in ATEX Zone 21 and 22 external environments. The unit is third-party certified per EN 17348:2022 and EU Directive 2014/34/EU as category 1/2D. Zone 21 means explosive dust-air mixtures can occur 10-1,000 hours per year under normal operating conditions — this is higher risk than Zone 22 and requires more robust construction.
The three-phase side channel blower delivers 560 m³/h and 2,000 mmH₂O vacuum for high-demand applications. The blower is maintenance-free without brushes or mechanical wear, making it ideal for continuous 24/7 operation. The H14 HEPA filter with double filter area (52,000 cm²) provides 99.995% particle retention — significantly larger than the DG30 model (26,000 cm²).
