About EXP1-10/15 (4W) RE

Tiger-Vac EXP1-10/15 (4W) RE is a flexible ATEX II 2GD-certified vacuum designed for pharmaceutical and cleanroom environments. The series comes in two sizes — EXP1-10 and EXP1-15 — offering ultimate choice in capacity without compromising on certification or filter efficiency.

The unit is certified under LCIE 03 ATEX 6297 for both gas and dust zones. Externally, it covers Zone 1 and 2 (gas, group IIA) as well as Zone 21 and 22 (dust). Internally, it meets EN 17348 DT/LC, meaning it can safely handle both combustible dust and flammable liquids — ideal for ISO Class 4 cleanrooms.

Both models are equipped with a 1 kW TEFC motor (230 V, single phase) delivering 224 m³/h airflow and up to 1,550 mmH₂O maximum vacuum. Filtration occurs in four stages: static dissipative pre-filter, static dissipative cloth filter, and HEPA H14 with 99.995% efficiency at 0.3 µm. Both sizes can be used for both wet and dry collection.

With ESD-safe wheels and a 4-wheel trolley format, the unit is easy to move between work stations. The 15-meter cord provides extended reach, and options for ULPA filter and conductive polyliner bag increase flexibility for specialized applications.

Questions & Answers

EXP1-10 has a dry capacity of 22.7 liters and liquid capacity of 28.5 liters, while EXP1-15 has higher capacities of 38 liters (dry) and 47.3 liters (liquid). Both have the same motor, the same airflow (224 m³/h), and the same ATEX certification. EXP1-15 is 97 cm tall compared to EXP1-10's 84 cm.

With ATEX II 2GD certification, the unit is externally approved for Zone 1 and Zone 2 (gas, group IIA) as well as Zone 21 and Zone 22 (dust). Internally, it meets EN 17348 DT/LC, which covers Zone 20 for combustible dust and flammable liquids.

Yes, EXP1-10/15 (4W) RE is designed for both wet and dry collection. EXP1-10 can collect 22.7 L of dry dust or 28.5 L of liquid, while EXP1-15 can collect 38 L of dry dust or 47.3 L of liquid. The liquid filter is included as standard.

EN 17348 is the harmonized standard for vacuum cleaners used in explosive atmospheres. DT stands for Combustible Dust and LC for Flammable Liquids. Together, they confirm that the unit can safely vacuum both material types — ideal for pharmaceutical production.

ISO Class 4 (formerly known as Class 10) is the highest cleanroom classification, defined by particle limits of 0.5 µm. It is used in high-tech manufacturing, pharmaceutical labs, precision electronics, and sterile production. EXP1-10/15 (4W) RE features HEPA H14 filtration, which meets these requirements.

Yes. The wheels are ESD-safe, and both the pre-filter and cloth filter are static dissipative. This reduces the risk of static buildup in ATEX areas and is particularly important in pharmaceutical and electronics environments.

You can upgrade from HEPA H14 to ULPA filter for even higher filtration efficiency (99.9995% at 0.3 µm). A conductive polyliner bag can also be added for safe and convenient emptying of collected material in ATEX areas.
