About Tiger-Vac EXP1-55L DT EXTENDED (MFS) RE HEPA
The EXP1-55L DT EXTENDED is designed for high-volume fine powder collection in ATEX environments. The extended designation indicates a taller tank design for increased capacity. With a 55 L detachable tank, this model handles large batches of collected dust without frequent tank swaps. Certified ATEX II 2GD under LCIE 03 ATEX 6297, it operates safely in Zone 1 gas and Zone 21 dust atmospheres.
HEPA H14 filtration is included as standard, providing 99.995% efficiency at 0.3 micron. The Teflon-laminated cloth filter resists dust adhesion and enables effective manual filter shaking (MFS). The MFS mechanism uses hand-cranked shaking to dislodge particles from the cartridge, giving operators full visibility and control throughout the cleaning cycle. The 38 mm ESD tool kit ensures grounding integrity during collection.
The EXP1 series carries its own ATEX certification (LCIE 03 ATEX 6297, II 2GD) which covers Zone 1 gas and Zone 21 dust. This is distinct from the CD/EUR series which has a higher II 1/2 GD rating and IIB gas group. The EXP1 is rated for IIA gas group with external T3 temperature classification.
The 1 kW single-phase TEFC motor delivers 224 m³/h airflow with 1,550 mmH₂O maximum vacuum. The integrated muffler produces 78 dB(A) at standard configuration and 85 dB(A) without muffler. The four-wheel cart features ESD-conductive wheels and is fully antistatically bonded for safe operation.
