Tiger-Vac CR-1000 (CV)
The Tiger-Vac CR-1000 (CV) is a cleanroom vacuum system engineered specifically for the safe collection, containment and disposal of potent and carcinogenic compounds. A 5-stage filtration system with ULPA U15 filtration, an integrated safe containment canister and an autoclavable stainless steel Type 316 construction make this one of the most specialised tools available for OEB 4–5 environments in ISO Class 4 cleanrooms.
- Safe containment canister included — coated steel, single use, 7.6 L
- ULPA U15 (99.999 % at 0.12 µm) + HEPA H14 (99.995 % at 0.3 µm)
- 5-stage filtration — individually aerosol leak tested
- ISO Class 4 (ISO 14644-1) — OEB 4–5
- Autoclavable stainless steel Type 316 (filter chamber + wheel base)
- Low noise: only 60 dB(A) at 2 m
- 3 optional tool kits: Standard, ESD Safe, Autoclavable
What is the Tiger-Vac CR-1000 (CV)?
The CR-1000 (CV) — where CV stands for Containment Vacuum — is a cleanroom vacuum from Tiger-Vac engineered specifically for the safe handling of potent and carcinogenic compounds. The vacuum is approved for ISO Class 4 (ISO 14644-1) and designed for OEB 4–5 environments where operator exposure limits are typically below 1 µg/m³.
The defining feature of the CR-1000 (CV) is the integrated safe containment canister: a leak-proof, coated steel container with a 7.6-litre capacity. Inside the canister sits a disposable collection bag, and the canister is equipped with its own integrated HEPA filter — so when the canister is disconnected from the vacuum, all collected material remains sealed inside. The canister is disposed of as a closed unit. The operator never handles the collected substance directly.
The 5-stage filtration system passes air successively through the disposable bag (inside the canister), a PTFE laminated washable cloth filter, a safety filter, a HEPA H14 filter and finally a ULPA U15 exhaust filter with an efficiency of 99.999 % at 0.12 µm. Each system leaves Tiger-Vac's facility individually aerosol leak tested in accordance with IEST-RP-CC001.
