What is the Tiger-Vac AS-10 HEPA?
The AS-10 HEPA is a freestanding, mobile vacuum from Tiger-Vac, designed for daily GMP cleaning in pharmaceutical production, laboratories and other life science environments. Mounted on a 4-wheel dolly, it is easy to move around production floors, corridors and laboratories. At 9.5 kg it is light enough to be pushed by one person and robust enough for intensive daily use.
The filtration system consists of three stages: a synthetic microfilter bag that captures coarser particles and allows dust-free bag changes, a primary cloth filter, and a HEPA H14 final filter with an efficiency of 99.995 % at 0.3 µm (MPPS). The HEPA filter is tested to IEST-RP-CC001 and classified H14 by the MPPS method in accordance with EN 1822. Each vacuum unit is aerosol tested before leaving the factory — a test that verifies not only the HEPA filter in isolation but the entire airflow path including all gaskets and joints.
The Thru-Flow motor ensures that all air — including cooling air — passes through the HEPA filter before returning to the room. The design provides easy access to the HEPA filter for replacement while maintaining a tight seal during operation. The noise level of 62 dB(A) is low for a mobile vacuum in this power class.

Filter bag and filtration
The collection bag (part no. 212500, synthetic, pack of 5) is a 9.5 L microfilter bag that closes tightly when removed, so collected material is not dispersed during bag changes. The cloth filter (part no. 212502) sits between the bag and the HEPA filter, capturing particles that may pass through the bag and significantly extending HEPA filter service life. Polyethylene liners (part no. 212371M, 61 × 61 cm) are available as an alternative collection system placed directly in the tank.
