What is the Depureco DF FIX 55 and 75?

The Depureco DF FIX 55 and DF FIX 75 are stationary dust collectors with a collection bin, designed for permanent installation in production environments where large airflow volumes and continuous duty are essential. Both units share the same chassis and 175 L bin; the difference lies in motor performance. The DF FIX 55 delivers 2,700 m³/h at 517 mmH₂O, while the DF FIX 75 delivers 3,900 m³/h at 575 mmH₂O.

The primary filter is a polyester star filter in class M with a 45,000 cm² surface area, and a pneumatic filter shaker (PSC) is fitted as standard. The integrated control panel includes a remote control, safety valve and inlet silencer. Options include automatic reverse-jet cartridge cleaning (SP), a HEPA H14 absolute filter and stainless-steel construction.

Permanent installation: The DF FIX is intended for fixed placement within the production environment — typically as central extraction for one or more workstations via rigid ducting or flexible suction hoses. It ships with 5 m cable and an integrated control panel so commissioning is quick. The PSC shaker cleans the filter automatically with compressed air.

Questions & answers

The DF FIX is a stationary dust collector designed for permanent installation — it has no wheels and is not moved between workstations. In return it offers a larger bin (175 L vs. 65 L), more powerful motors (5.5 or 7.5 kW), higher airflow (up to 3,900 m³/h) and a built-in pneumatic filter shaker (PSC) as standard. It also includes an integrated control panel with remote control, safety valve and inlet silencer. Choose the DF FIX for fixed installation where continuous operation matters.
Both models share the same chassis, 175 L bin, 45,000 cm² class M star filter and integrated control panel — the difference lies in motor power. The DF FIX 55 has a 5.5 kW motor and delivers 2,700 m³/h at 517 mmH₂O. The DF FIX 75 has a 7.5 kW motor and delivers 3,900 m³/h at 575 mmH₂O. Choose the DF FIX 75 when the application calls for maximum airflow or higher static vacuum.
The PSC system uses compressed air to shake the star filter mechanically and release the collected dust into the bin. It is a simple, robust and reliable cleaning mechanism that requires no electronics, and it performs well on coarse and medium-fine particles. The difference from the optional SP system is that PSC cleans the same star filter, whereas SP replaces the star filter with cartridges and uses reverse-jet cleaning.
The SP option replaces the standard star filter and PSC shaker cleaning with a system based on four antistatic polyester cartridges (combined 12 m² / 120,000 cm²). Cleaning is fully automatic via reverse-jet (pulsed compressed air) without stopping the machine. Choose SP when the application has very high dust loading or requires continuous operation without manual shaker pauses.
Yes. An H14 absolute filter with 160,000 cm² fibreglass surface is available as an option and is installed as a secondary stage after the star filter or the cartridges. H14 delivers even higher particle retention than H13 and is relevant when the exhaust air must be particularly clean — for instance when recirculating into the production hall.
In addition to the integrated standard panel (remote control, safety valve, inlet silencer), a range of control panel options is available: SP cleaning system control, discharge system control, WRLS wireless remote control, pressure stabiliser with touch display, level sensor and inverter.
