What is the Delfin MTL 802 WXP?

The Delfin MTL 802 WXP is an industrial wet vacuum with an integrated immersion pump, engineered for collecting and continuously discharging liquids in production environments. The 80-litre container is manufactured from stainless steel AISI 304, and the immersion pump delivers 135 litres per minute at up to 6.89 metres of pressure head. This enables simultaneous suction and discharge — without production downtime.

The 2.30 kW bypass motor provides 2,500 mmH₂O of suction power and 360 m³/h airflow, making the machine well suited for everything from spilt liquids and coolants to process fluids in industrial production. The construction is compact (53 × 59 × 105 cm) and mobile with castors, allowing easy relocation between workstations.

Two emptying methods: The container can be emptied via the integrated immersion pump (135 l/min) or via the built-in drain valve at the bottom. The container is not detachable, but the two emptying methods eliminate the need to lift or move the machine during discharge.

The MTL 802 WD is the standard model with a painted steel container and discharge hose. The MTL 802 WXP is the pump version featuring a stainless steel AISI 304 container and an integrated immersion pump delivering 135 l/min at up to 6.89 metres of pressure head. The WXP can vacuum and discharge simultaneously, making it ideal for processes involving large volumes of liquid.

How does the immersion pump work?

The immersion pump is mounted inside the stainless steel container and activates when the liquid level reaches a set point. It delivers 135 litres per minute and can lift liquid up to 6.89 metres. This allows collected liquid to be routed directly to a drain or a separate collection tank elsewhere in the facility — without interrupting the suction process.

Can the MTL 802 WXP handle industrial process liquids?

Yes, the stainless steel AISI 304 container provides good chemical resistance to many industrial liquids. The polypropylene motor protection filter (300 µm) prevents liquid from reaching the motor. For particularly aggressive liquids, chemical compatibility should always be verified before use.
