Liquid hoses
TWIN HOSE/PVC
TWIN HOSE/PVC is a specialised twin-configured control hose for sandblasting applications. Two PVC hoses are molded together as a single unit - typically to lead both main compressed air (sandblasting gun) and a separate control air (quick-shutoff) to the same work station. PN 20 bar working pressure and 60 bar burst pressure (3x safety factor). Single dimension: ID 6 mm with 100 m standard roll length. The blue/grey outer coating is industry convention for control hoses and easily distinguishable from main compressed air hoses.

Why this hose?
The twin configuration is the central design feature in TWIN HOSE/PVC. Unlike two separate hoses - which can get tangled, stretch differently and have different bend radii during work - the twin hose is a single unit that always follows the same route. This simplifies installation, reduces work accidents and eases operator handling.
PN 20 bar / BP 60 bar (3x safety factor) is high-pressure control air rating. It covers typical compressed air systems in industry and provides sufficient margin for transient pressure peaks from compressor cycling. PVC's lightness and price-value make it an economical solution for control air applications.
The blue/grey colour is an industry convention for control hoses - easily visible as distinct from main compressed air hoses and fuel hoses. At industrial work stations where multiple hose types are in operation, quick visual identification is a safety property that reduces the risk of mis-connection.
Where it is used
Sandblasting workshops use the hose as standard control hose on professional sandblasting guns. A typical installation has 5-15 m of TWIN HOSE/PVC from compressed air system to sandblasting gun, where both hose elements follow the same route.
Industrial work stations with pneumatic control use the hose to lead main and control air to specialised equipment. The twin configuration is particularly valuable at stations where the operator drags the hose between positions - it prevents the hoses from getting tangled.
Machine manufacturing uses the hose in fixed-installed pneumatic control systems. The long standard roll (100 m) is practical for continuous production where multiple machines must be connected to the same central compressor installation.
The hose is colloquially known as twin hose, control hose or sandblasting control hose.

Standards and compliance
The hose is qualified per the central European standard for industrial plastic hoses.
- EN ISO 1307:2008. European standard for rubber and thermoplastic hoses for general use.
- EN 12115. European standard for rubber and thermoplastic hoses for liquids and chemicals.
- RoHS Directive (2011/65/EU). Restriction of hazardous substances.
- REACH (EC 1907/2006). Registration of chemical substances.
- ISO 9001:2015. Quality management system at the manufacturer.
- EN 13501-1. European classification of building materials for fire properties. PVC has generally self-extinguishing properties.
- EU 1935/2004. Food contact regulation. The hose is NOT food-approved.

Industries that use it
TWIN HOSE/PVC is used where a work station needs both main compressed air and a separate control air - typically in sandblasting, welding and pneumatic control systems.
Sandblasting workshops are the main market. Sandblasting guns typically have a separate control button that via pneumatic quick-shutoff immediately stops the sand flow - a critical safety property. TWIN HOSE/PVC leads both main compressed air (for sand) and control air (for shutoff) in the same hose unit.
Welding industry and mechanical engineering use the hose in pneumatic control systems. Welding guns and specialised industrial machines often have separate control and main air systems that can be handled with the twin configuration.
High-pressure cleaning and industrial work stations use the hose for combined air distribution. The twin configuration prevents hoses from getting tangled during work, which is a major safety advantage at industrial work stations.
Custom lengths and assemblies
The hose can be delivered cut to desired lengths. The standard roll can be supplemented with shorter pieces or multiple rolls by arrangement.

Frequently asked questions
What is a 'twin control' hose?
A twin hose is two hoses molded together as a single unit - typically to lead both main media (sandblasting air) and a separate control/pilot air to the same work station. This simplifies installation and prevents the hoses from getting tangled during work. TWIN HOSE/PVC is specifically designed for sandblasting applications where a separate control air for the gun's quick-shutoff is required.
What is TWIN HOSE/PVC particularly suitable for?
The hose is specifically designed for sandblasting applications where a work station needs both main compressed air (sandblasting gun) and a separate control air (quick-shutoff). PN 20 bar working pressure and 60 bar burst pressure make the hose suitable for high-pressure sandblasting, and the blue/grey colour is an industry convention for control hoses.
How many dimensions are in the range?
1 dimension: ID 6 mm (OD 11 mm). This is a specialised single-dimension hose for control air applications. PN 20 bar and 60 bar burst pressure are sufficient for pneumatic control air from compressor systems. 100 m standard roll length is normal.
What makes the twin configuration different from two separate hoses?
Two hoses molded together as a single unit prevents the hoses from getting tangled during work - a significant problem in daily sandblasting where the operator drags the hose around the work station. The twin configuration ensures the main and control hoses always follow the same route, simplifying installation and reducing work accidents from tangled hoses.
What is the operating temperature?
-20 to +60 C. This is the PVC wall's limit and covers normal industrial compressed air temperatures. The hose is NOT suitable for frost-exposed installations or hot-air applications. For higher temperatures we recommend an EPDM or PUR-based control hose.
Which couplings are recommended?
For 6 mm ID applications, pneumatic quick couplings or standard worm-drive clamps are recommended. Sandblasting guns typically have specific coupling configurations matching their design. We typically fit couplings to the hose by arrangement.
What colour is the hose?
Black inner tube and blue/grey outer coating. The blue/grey colour is an industry convention for control hoses - easily visible as distinct from main compressed air hoses (typically yellow or beige) and fuel hoses (typically black). This simplifies operator identification at work stations with multiple hose types.
Is the hose suitable for media change?
The hose is specifically designed for compressed air control. For other media (water, chemicals, oil-based media) we recommend a specifically media-suitable hose. The twin configuration is particularly valuable in sandblasting where main and control air must follow the same route, but in other applications separate hoses are often more practical.
