What is Delfin PHARMA 40.30/40.40?

Delfin PHARMA 40.30/40.40 is a large-scale pharmaceutical-grade stainless steel vacuum designed for cleanroom processes where cleanliness and safety are critical. The entire unit — tank, filter chamber, clamp connection — is constructed from AISI304 stainless steel with polished internal surfaces. H14 HEPA absolute filter is standard equipment and ensures pharmaceutical-grade particle retention. The Star-type media with integrated manual cleaning reduces energy consumption and is typically found in GMP-certified facilities and OEB environments.

The unit comes in two power ratings: PHARMA 40.30 (3 kW, 318 m³/h) for smaller process lines, and PHARMA 40.40 (4 kW, 420 m³/h) for higher throughput processes. Both models share the same 42-litre collection tank, Star-type media, and premium AISI304 construction. The Safe Bag system (sealed bag-in/bag-out containment) can be added for enhanced safety during filter changes.

Dual motor sizes — single pharmaceutical design: PHARMA 40.30 and PHARMA 40.40 share the same tank, filter chamber, and AISI304 construction. Selection is based on process throughput: 40.30 for smaller lines (318 m³/h) and 40.40 for higher loads (420 m³/h). Contact us for sizing guidance.

Questions and Answers

Both models share the same AISI304 stainless steel construction, 42-litre collection tank, H14 filter, and Star-type media. The difference lies in motor performance: PHARMA 40.30 delivers 3 kW, 318 m³/h airflow, and 159 m³/m²/h filter bed load, while PHARMA 40.40 delivers 4 kW, 420 m³/h, and 210 m³/m²/h. Choose 40.30 for smaller process lines and 40.40 for higher throughput.
Yes. The unit is designed for GMP-compatible environments and comes standard with H14 absolute filter, AISI304 stainless steel construction, and manual cleaning via integrated Star-type system. Bag-in/bag-out (BiBo) containment can be added for enhanced safety during filter changes. OEB Level 3 is achieved as standard.
Yes. The unit meets OEB Level 3 as standard. Upgrade to OEB 4–5 is achieved by combining H14 safety (already standard), FDA-certified antistatic media, AISI304 filter chamber, and optional BiBo system. Contact us for OEB configuration tailored to your specific requirements.
PHARMA 40.30/40.40 features integrated manual cleaning via the Star-type system. The filter is cleaned during operation without stopping the unit, reducing energy consumption compared to timer-based cleaning. Cleaning frequency and filter life depend on dust load in your process and can range from hours to weeks. Contact us for process-specific recommendations.
Options include: FDA-certified antistatic media (filter upgrade), stainless steel filter chamber AISI304 (XX), polished inner filter chamber (XX/IP), full AISI304 construction (XXX), earth grounding for ESD protection, Safe Bag system (sealed bag-in/bag-out), and AISI304 clamp kits for 3"/70 mm or 3"/50 mm suction inlets.
42 litres is the maximum collection tank capacity. Emptying intervals depend on dust load in your process—typically from several hours to days or even weeks, depending on process dust generation. The unit's vacuum gauges can be configured to alert at full tank. Contact us for sizing based on your specific process load and dust profile.
