What is the Tiger-Vac CWR-ARU-15 (TC) POLY MRAC?
The CWR-ARU-15 (TC) POLY MRAC is an electric wet vacuum from Tiger-Vac, designed for pharmaceutical production environments and cleanrooms classified to ISO Class 4, where safe recovery of acids, corrosive liquids and potentially hazardous fluids is required. The ULPA U15 filter — tested per IEST-RP-CC001 and EN 1822, with 99.999% efficiency at 0.12 µm — is individually aerosol leak-tested before leaving the factory. The acid-resistant polyethylene tank holds 47.3 litres, and EMI/RFI shielding makes the vacuum suitable for use near sensitive electronic and analytical equipment.
The designation MRAC stands for Manual Reset Automatic Cleaning, and POLY for the polyethylene tank. The tilt cart (TC) allows the operator to tip the tank forward for emptying and cleaning without lifting the heavy machine. The heavy duty 2-stage bypass motor delivers an air flow of 189 m³/h at a maximum vacuum pressure of 2,180 mmH₂O.
For handling chlorides, hydrogen fluoride (HF), hydrochloric acid (HCl) and other acid vapours, an optional activated carbon filter can be fitted. Four carbon types are available: standard activated carbon, Mersorb® for mercury vapours, KINA 3®/KOGC3 for chloride and acid vapours, and A-3 for arsine and phosphine. The carbon cartridge is placed between the liquid filter and the ULPA filter and requires a flanged ring assembly when the carbon cartridge is not fitted.
