Delfin DG VL 150 SE ACD
The Delfin DG VL 150 SE ACD is a three-phase industrial vacuum for combustible dust in production areas that are not ATEX-classified but where the dust itself poses an ignition risk. A side-channel blower motor delivers continuous suction for 24/7 duty (720 m³/h, 6000 mmH₂O), and the SELF CLEAN system automatically purges the star filter with compressed air between cycles to keep suction stable without manual intervention. The internal construction follows IEC 60335-2-69 Annex AA, so the dust container is treated as Zone 20 regardless of the surrounding environment. The SE variant is a high-vacuum version -- 6000 mmH₂O suction against the family's usual 4000-4500 mmH₂O -- and is chosen for heavy, compact dust types and long hose runs.

Can the DG VL ACD be used in an ATEX-classified Zone 22?
No. The range is certified to IEC 60335-2-69 Annex AA and is intended only for areas that are NOT ATEX-classified. For ATEX-classified zones, choose a model from our ATEX range.
What does SELF CLEAN mean?
It is an automatic filter cleaning system that uses the integrated compressor to pulse compressed air through the star filter between cycles, keeping the filter surface free of dust cake without manual shaking.
Why choose DG VL 150 SE over DG VL 185?
The 150 SE offers significantly higher vacuum (6000 vs 4000 mmH₂O) but lower airflow. Choose SE for heavy, compact dust and long hose runs; choose 185 for large volumes of lighter dust.
Is the H14 HEPA filter included?
Yes. All models ship with an H-class HEPA exhaust filter (H14, 99.995 % efficiency measured by the MPPS method per EN 1822-5).
How large is the container?
160 litres on all four models. The container is built for forklift handling via integrated fork pockets.
Can it run 24 hours a day?
Yes. The three-phase side-channel blower is designed for continuous duty, and the SELF CLEAN system removes the need for scheduled filter shaking during the operating day.
