Delfin DM3 EL ACD LP
The Delfin DM3 EL ACD LP combines three single-phase bypass motors with a Longopac endless bag, so dust is collected continuously without ever opening a container. It is the preferred solution when combustible dust must be handled without exposure at emptying -- such as fine ceramics, metal powder or pharmaceutical dust. The construction follows IEC 60335-2-69 Annex AA, so the internal volume is treated as Zone 20, but the appliance is intended for areas that are NOT ATEX-classified.

What is the advantage of Longopac over a safebag?
The Longopac system provides 20 metres of continuous plastic bag that can be sealed and cut off in suitable lengths. The operator never opens the machine and never touches the dust -- ideal for pharmaceutical, fine chemical or allergenic dust types.
Is the DM3 EL ACD LP ATEX-certified?
No. The DM3 EL ACD LP is ACD-classified per IEC 60335-2-69 Annex AA and intended for non-ATEX areas only. If your production demands ATEX, consider the DM2 EL 1/2D LP (Zone 21) or an equivalent ATEX model.
Can I retrofit Longopac onto the DM3 EL ACD?
No. The DM3 EL ACD and DM3 EL ACD LP are two different base models with different chassis and hopper geometry. If you need Longopac, choose the LP version from the outset.
How long is the Longopac bag?
The standard Longopac cassette contains 20 metres of endless bag. The number of individual bags depends on dust volume and the chosen length per cut-off.
Is the filtration the same as on the DM3 EL ACD?
Yes. Same star/pocket primary filter (polyester class M antistatic, 30,000 cm²) and same standard HEPA H14 (EN 1822-5, 99.995 % MPPS, 26,000 cm²). The difference lies only in the collection system.
