Delfin DM3 EL ACD
The Delfin DM3 EL ACD is a powerful single-phase vacuum for collecting combustible dust in areas that are NOT ATEX-classified. Three bypass motors connected in parallel deliver substantial airflow of 540 m³/h, and the internal construction follows IEC 60335-2-69 Annex AA, so the dust container is treated as Zone 20 even though the surrounding area is non-ATEX. Standard HEPA H14 filter ensures fine dust is not recirculated.

Why three motors instead of one or two?
Three bypass motors in parallel deliver 540 m³/h of airflow without requiring three-phase power. This matches tasks where only single-phase 230 V is available but the dust volume demands more suction than a one- or two-motor setup can provide.
Can the DM3 EL ACD be used in Zone 22?
No. The DM3 EL ACD is certified to IEC 60335-2-69 Annex AA and intended only for areas that are NOT ATEX-classified. If your area is Zone 22 or stricter, choose a model from our ATEX range (for example DM2 EL 1/3D).
What is the real difference between ACD and ATEX?
ACD (Appliance for Combustible Dust) is built for combustible dust in areas that are NOT ATEX-classified. ATEX vacuums are certified to the ATEX Directive (2014/34/EU) and may be used in classified zones. The choice depends on whether the production area is zone-classified, not on the dust properties alone.
What filtration is included?
The DM3 EL ACD ships with a star/pocket primary filter in polyester class M antistatic (30,000 cm²) and a standard HEPA H14 filter (EN 1822-5, 99.995 % MPPS, 26,000 cm² filter surface). Filter cleaning is manual via the integrated system.
How large is the dust container?
The DM3 EL ACD has a 60-litre dust container in AISI 304 stainless steel. The collection system uses a synthetic safebag, which allows bag changes without contact with the dust.
