Depureco ECOBULL PLUS ACD

The Depureco ECOBULL PLUS ACD is the top of the ECOBULL range: same 65 L container as the T version, but with a 4 kW motor delivering 270 mbar vacuum -- noticeably stronger than the standard ECOBULL T and therefore capable of pulling heavier dust and longer hoses. Sized for continuous duty in powder-coating lines with greater capacity needs, and for stationary collection where hose routing makes vacuum loss unavoidable.

The suction unit is a side channel turbine with direct coupling between motor and impeller. The turbine has a safety valve ensuring continuous, maintenance-free operation. A metal silencer is included as standard for a low noise level.

The Depureco ECOBULL PLUS ACD delivers 340 m3/h at 270 mbar continuously, and the ACD-certified construction per IEC 60335-2-69 Annex AA keeps the internal Zone 20 capacity intact even under prolonged duty. A standard industrial vacuum would overload the motor within hours in the same environment.

Why this specific motor and phase configuration?

Side-channel blowers are the only motor technology that can run continuously for hours without overheating. The ECOBULL range delivers this capacity in a mobile format, unlike the stationary dust collectors normally used for the same task. Model-specific variations (1-phase on ECOBULL M, 3-phase on T/PLUS, different motor sizes) cover needs from small workshops up to mid-size production lines.

What types of dust is the Depureco ECOBULL PLUS ACD actually intended for?

Continuous process dust in mid-capacity: powder-coating surplus, fine swarf from CNC stations, wood-mill and biomass dust, fine flour dust in food production. The Depureco ECOBULL PLUS ACD is built to run long shifts without the motor needing rest, which is the critical difference to the bypass-based MTL and MINIBULL ranges.

What is the difference between ACD and ATEX?

ACD is the IEC 60335-2-69 Annex AA certification for combustible dust in non-ATEX-classified areas. Many powder-coating installations and mid-size production environments are not formally ATEX-classified because the dust concentration does not reach the classification threshold -- but the dust itself can ignite, and ACD equipment must be used. ATEX is for formally classified zones per Directive 2014/34/EU.

Which filter is fitted as standard, and can I upgrade to HEPA?

The standard is an antistatic polyester star filter class M at 24000 cm2 with integrated relief valve. The option is HEPA H14 at 24,000 cm2 for class H. Both filters have full antistatic construction, preserving the internal Zone 20 capacity regardless of filter choice.

How mobile or stationary is it in practice?

The Depureco ECOBULL PLUS ACD weighs 95 kg and measures 660 x 800 x 1530 mm -- a semi-stationary mid-range collector that is moved on wheels between production setups but is not as compact as a 1-phase bypass model. Noise level is 72 dB(A) at 1 metre, suited to continuous duty in a production hall.
