  • Welding and plasma-cutting lines with metallic splatter
  • Foundries with sand, mould and process dust
Depureco TX 750 ACD
Certified to
  • IEC 60335-2-69 Annex AA (ACD)
  • Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU
  • EMC Directive 2014/30/EU

Depureco TX 750 ACD

The Depureco TX 750 ACD is the top of the TX range: 7.5 kW side-channel blower with 730 m3/h airflow and 260 mbar vacuum -- balancing volume and suction in a format that still fits the standard production-line footprint. It is built for demanding process installations where TX 400 and 550 are undersized and where the jump to the PUMA range is too large. Same 100 L tangential cyclone container and ACD certification per IEC 60335-2-69 Annex AA.

Questions and answers

Why is the Depureco TX 750 ACD a better choice than a standard industrial vacuum?

Because production-line collection requires a vacuum that can run 24/7 without human supervision. The TX range is a side-channel blower with 100 L tangential cyclone container, designed to sit fixed in the line and collect continuously through a cyclone inlet. The ACD certification per IEC 60335-2-69 Annex AA preserves the internal Zone 20 capacity, so combustible dust does not become an ignition source for the production environment.

Why this specific motor and phase configuration?

A three-phase side-channel blower is the only motor configuration that can run continuously 24/7 in a production flow. The TX range offers different motor sizes and flow/suction calibrations, letting you match exactly the suction profile your production plant requires -- from 3 kW to 7.5 kW, from 160 mbar flow-biased up to 440 mbar suction-biased.

What types of dust is the Depureco TX 750 ACD actually intended for?

Continuous process dust in production-line quantities: fine foundry sand, metal swarf from CNC and laser-cutting lines, powder-metallurgy fractions, cellulose dust from paper and wood industry, fine aluminium and magnesium dust from light-metal machining. The TX range is used where collection is a fixed part of the production flow, not a mobile task.

What is the difference between ACD and ATEX?

ACD is the IEC 60335-2-69 Annex AA certification for combustible dust in non-ATEX-classified production halls. Most industrial plants are not formally ATEX-classified because dust concentration does not constantly exceed the classification threshold -- but a fine-dust ignition is still a realistic risk. ATEX is for formally classified zones per Directive 2014/34/EU and used in Zone 20/21/22.

Which filter is fitted as standard, and can I upgrade to HEPA?

The standard is an antistatic polyester star filter class M at 38000 cm2 with integrated relief valve. Options are SP (star-polyester with pulse cleaning) or PSC (polyester cartridge with compressed-air cleaning) plus HEPA H14 for class H. The compressed-air cleaning option is recommended at high dust volumes where manual filter cleaning would interrupt production.

How mobile or stationary is it in practice?

The Depureco TX 750 ACD is a stationary production-line vacuum at 190 kg -- on wheels and movable, but not intended for daily relocation. Placement is fixed at a production station with permanent cable and hose routing. Noise level is 79 dB(A) at 1 metre, matched to industrial background.
