Tiger-Vac CD-100L (DT) EX (MFS) CAT. 2GD Z1-21 -- 7.5 kW

The Tiger-Vac CD-100L (DT) EX (MFS) CAT. 2GD Z1-21 in 7.5 kW configuration is the high-flow variant of the CD-100L combined platform. Marked II 1/2GD 3rd party. 7500 W TEFC at 15 A delivers 450 m3/h at 2345 mmH2O and 75 dB(A) -- about 50 % more flow than the 4 kW version but 30 % lower vacuum. 100 L AISI 304 detachable tank, 170 kg weight (6 kg more than 4 kW due to the larger motor). The rest of the package is identical: star-shaped 19,500 cm2 main filter, MFS, True Cyclone Separator, 2.5" CAMLOCK intake. Suitable for longer hose lengths (15-30 m), multi-pickup setups with multiple simultaneous operators, or workplaces where high flow is needed to handle the collected dust effectively.

Questions and answers

What is the difference between the 4 kW and 7.5 kW variants?

4 kW (112570B1, this page) delivers 299 m3/h at 3380 mmH2O at 8.7 A and 72 dB(A). 7.5 kW (112574B1) delivers 450 m3/h at 2345 mmH2O at 15 A and 75 dB(A) -- about 50 % more flow but 30 % lower vacuum. Weight: 164 kg vs 170 kg. Choose 4 kW for standard applications; choose 7.5 kW when you need higher air volume for longer hose lengths or multiple simultaneous suction points.

What is the True Cyclone Separator?

A passive pre-separator at the suction intake that uses centrifugal force to separate 70-80 % of the coarsest dust before it reaches the main filter. Significantly reduces filter loading and can extend filter life 3-5 times. This means longer intervals between MFS-shaker cycles and lower operating cost over time.

What is the manometer for?

The manometer on the intake side shows the vacuum level and gives the operator a quick visual signal of when the filter is becoming clogged (higher vacuum = more cake on the filter). It is also a safety function -- if the VRV valve opens due to blockage it is clearly visible on the manometer.

What hose type is used?

Standard is the supplied 500540D crushproof suction hose -- 50 mm x 4.5 m static conductive with 2.5" female CAMLOCK aluminium. Connects to the machine's 2.5" CAMLOCK intake. The hose can be replaced by the 500306D KANAFLEX explosion-proof hose (mandatory with conductive metal dust). 70 mm polyurethane hoses are also available for high-flow applications.

What is the ground continuity multimeter (211065B)?

A multimeter that measures resistance from the machine to ground -- must be under 10 ohm for safe use in ATEX zones. Measured before each shift to ensure that grounding is intact and static electricity can be safely discharged. Included as standard on CD-100L EX (MFS) 2GD models to simplify daily safety check.
