Delfin DG 50 EXP Z2/22
The Delfin DG 50 EXP Z2/22 is the mid-range combined vacuum in the DG EXP series -- certified II 3GD for simultaneous Zone 2 gas and Zone 22 dust. The side-channel blower delivers 420 m³/h and 3200 mmH₂O suction (2600 mmH₂O continuous), and the 100 L detachable tank provides significantly longer run-time between emptying than the MTL 4533. The entire machine including the control box is ATEX-certified 3GD, and the primary filter is polyester class M ANT PTFE with H14 HEPA as standard.

What is the difference between DG 50 EXP Z2/22 and MTL 4533 Z2/22?
The DG 50 EXP has a larger tank (100 L vs 45 L), higher airflow (420 vs 318 m³/h) but the same max vacuum (3200 mmH₂O). Choose DG 50 EXP for longer run-time between emptying; choose MTL 4533 for compact working areas.
Is the DG 50 EXP Z2/22 approved for Zone 1 gas?
No -- only Zone 2 (category 3G). For Zone 1 gas contact Particulair for II 2G models.
Why 30.000 cm² primary filter instead of 20.000?
The DG 50 EXP has a larger filter unit (500 mm diameter) providing lower air load and longer intervals between manual shaking.
Can the pressure relief valve be reset or does it need replacement?
It is resettable -- triggered by a pressure spike and re-inserted after inspection. Should nevertheless be checked at each service cycle.
Do I need an earthing cable when operating in an ATEX zone?
Yes -- all ATEX Ex models must be earthed via an approved bonding lead to prevent static discharge.
Can multiple hose lengths be connected without losing suction?
Nominal suction is preserved up to about 8-10 m of hose. Longer runs require sizing calculations -- contact Particulair for advice.
