Tiger-Vac EXP1-25 (TC) RE HEPA
Single-phase TEFC ATEX combined vacuum for Zone 1 gas + Zone 21 dust -- 56.8 L dry / 64.4 L wet, Tilt Cart (TC), EN 17348 DT/LC for non-flammable liquids, ISO Class 4 cleanroom compatible
- Pharmaceutical production with higher cleaning volume than the 15L supports
- Larger laboratories and pilot lines with a full day's wet+dry recovery
- ISO Class 4 cleanrooms where a 56.8 L tank reduces emptying frequency
- Biotech with coating and granulation processes generating liquid + dust
- Chemical QC across multiple lines with the tilt cart's practical emptying
- ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU -- II 2GD Ex d IIA T3 Gb / Ex t IIIC T200°C Db IP6X -- LCIE 03 ATEX 6297 -- EN 17348 DT/LC
- EN 17348:2022 (harmonized March 2023)
- IEC 60335-2-69 (industrial vacuums)
Tiger-Vac EXP1-25 (TC) RE HEPA
The Tiger-Vac EXP1-25 (TC) RE HEPA is the middle size in the TC series, the sibling to the EXP1-15 with the same ATEX certification (II 2GD, EN 17348 DT/LC). The difference is the collection capacity: 56.8 litres dry / 64.4 litres wet -- 50 % more than the EXP1-15 and suited for larger production areas, longer shifts or more frequent wet recovery. The Tilt Cart (TC) system keeps emptying ergonomic even when the liquid tank is full. 1.0 kW TEFC motor, 224 m3/h, 1550 mmH2O vacuum, HEPA/ULPA filter surface 6,500 cm2, main cloth filter 3,480 cm2. AISI 304 stainless construction, ISO Class 4 cleanroom compatible -- suitable for pharma, biotech and chemical pilot lines.

Questions and answers
When should I choose the EXP1-25 over the EXP1-15 or EXP1-55?
EXP1-15 (38 L / 47 L) for single stations or smaller labs with low volume. EXP1-25 (56.8 L / 64.4 L) for multiple stations or full day's production where emptying once per day is the target. EXP1-55 (151 L / 170 L) for high-volume production or centralised cleaning across multiple lines. Concretely: EXP1-25 is the best choice when 15 L feels too small but 55 L is overkill -- a classic mid-choice for medium-sized pharma factories.
Why is the height 10 cm larger than the EXP1-15?
The difference lies in the tank itself -- the EXP1-25 has a slightly taller container to provide 50 % more volume without increasing the footprint. EXP1-15: 99 cm height, EXP1-25: 109 cm height, both on a 79 x 69 cm base. For most pharmaceutical installations this is insignificant, but if you use the vacuum under low lab benches or in tight cleanroom passages, check it.
Does filtration differ compared to smaller models?
No -- HEPA/ULPA filter surface is 6,500 cm2 and main cloth filter surface is 3,480 cm2 on both the EXP1-15 and EXP1-25. Same filter housing and same filters. Filter service intervals and costs are therefore identical, only the tank and height differ.
How does the tilt cart work with a full liquid tank?
A full 64.4 L liquid tank weighs about 65-70 kg (water) plus about 20-25 kg for the tank itself -- around 90 kg total. The tilt cart mechanism has a lift-arm system that reduces operator force to about 20-25 kg to tip the tank forward; the physics is a "lever" with a fulcrum behind. Low enough that a single person can handle it without equipment, but repeated emptying must be planned ergonomically (no more than 20-30 tipping cycles per shift without a break).
How much cable and hose are included?
15 metres of power cord is standard and suits most production lines with nearby outlets. The suction hose from the accessory kit is 3 metres of 38 mm Kanaflex (381400A) -- if longer reach is needed, the hose can be extended in steps up to about 10 m with ATEX-certified ESD hose. Beyond 10 m the vacuum drops significantly and efficiency is reduced.
Can I upgrade to a stainless cart?
Yes. The standard cart is powder-coated steel. For pharma installations, wet floor cleaning and GMP environments, Particulair recommends upgrading to the AISI 304 stainless cart -- price-wise a small premium, but a real improvement in hygiene and durability under regular wash-down. The cart material does not affect the ATEX class.
