Delfin MTL 4533 Z2/22
The Delfin MTL 4533 Z2/22 is a compact combined vacuum certified II 3GD -- built for areas where combustible dust and lighter ignitable gases can occur simultaneously. The side-channel blower delivers continuous suction (318 m³/h, 3200 mmH₂O max) and the entire unit including the control switchbox is ATEX-certified category 3GD for Zone 2 gas and Zone 22 dust. The detachable 45 L tank with optional disposable bag makes disposal safe and hygienic, and the integrated pressure relief valve equalises pressure spikes during sudden blockage.

Can I use the MTL 4533 Z2/22 in a pure Zone 1 gas atmosphere?
No -- II 3G means certification for Zone 2 where gas only occurs briefly during normal operation. For Zone 1 choose a II 2G-certified model.
What does "Z2/22" in the model name mean?
It indicates the two external zones the model may be used in: Zone 2 gas and Zone 22 dust simultaneously -- a so-called combined zone.
Is the side-channel blower built for 24/7 duty?
Yes, the side-channel blower is designed for continuous duty. Continuous vacuum rating is 2700 mmH₂O, while the maximum with safety valve installed is 3200 mmH₂O.
Is the HEPA filter standard?
Yes -- H14 HEPA to EN 1822-5 (99.995 % MPPS efficiency) is included, and the primary filter is polyester class M ANT PTFE.
How is the collected combined fraction handled safely?
The detachable 45 L tank can be sealed with a disposable plastic bag so that dust and any solvent residues can be disposed of without direct contact. The pressure relief valve prevents pressure spikes in cabinet and hose.
Is an automatic filter cleaning version available?
