Depureco ECOBULL XM T DEX 1/3D
The Depureco ECOBULL XM T DEX 1/3D is the compact ECOBULL XM variant with 1/3D certification. Single-phase side-channel blower 400 V 1.8 kW, 20 L AISI 304 container and 240 m3/h airflow at 180 mbar vacuum. Conical cartridge filter antistatic polyester (16,000 cm2) with Jet Clean and guillotine protection. HEPA H14 optional. ATEX II 1/3D Ex h IIIC T160 Da/Dc. Compact 516 x 545 x 1050 mm, only 57 kg -- ideal where space is tight and 1/3D certification is required.

Why is the ECOBULL XM T DEX 1/3D single-phase when side-channel is normally three-phase?
The side-channel blower in the ECOBULL XM range is adapted for single-phase operation (400 V) at 1.8 kW. It costs extra current and runs a bit hotter than three-phase, but allows installation in workshop areas without a three-phase outlet. Code A1800 is explicitly single-phase per Depureco's 2026 price list.
What does 1/3D mean in the model name?
1/3D is the ATEX category: internal Zone 20 (category 1D) + external Zone 22 (category 3D). The machine may stand in Zone 22 and simultaneously collect combustible dust internally under classified conditions.
How do Jet Clean and guillotine work?
Jet Clean is a pneumatic pulsed compressed-air burst that cleans the conical cartridge without opening the machine. The guillotine is an internal plate that opens and closes between filter and container -- prevents cleaned dust from bouncing back into the airstream and ensures dust separation during cleaning.
How large is the container, and when does it fill up?
20 L AISI 304 container -- compact size suitable for daily or 2-day operation depending on dust load. Lighter than the DEX variants (65 L) and better suited to mobile R&D or pharma scenarios. Fill-level indicator is optional.
Can I upgrade to HEPA H14?
Yes. HEPA H14 (99.995 % MPPS) can be added as an afterfilter. It is recommended for pharma, API handling, radioactive dust and environmentally sensitive applications. Standard M class is sufficient for typical powder coating and plastics production.
What is the difference between ECOBULL XM and ECOBULL DEX 1/3D?
ECOBULL XM is the compact variant: 20 L container, 57 kg, 516 x 545 x 1050 mm, 1.8 kW, conical cartridge filter 16,000 cm2. ECOBULL DEX 1/3D is medium-sized: 65 L, 95 kg, 660 x 800 x 1630 mm, 1.8-4 kW, star filter 24,000 cm2. Choose XM for tight spaces and low dust loads; choose DEX for medium-scale operation.
