Delfin ZFR 75
The Delfin ZFR 75 is the top model in the Zefiro family: an ATEX-certified three-phase industrial vacuum with a reinforced side-channel blower and 100-litre container. With 4 kW power it delivers the highest vacuum in the series (3600 mmH²O peak / 2900 mmH²O with HEPA), and is self-certified per EN 17348:2022 in category 3D. Suited to larger productions and heavy collection tasks in Zone 22.

Questions and answers
Why choose the ZFR 75 over the ZFR EL TR?
The ZFR 75 has a 4 kW motor (vs 3 kW on the ZFR EL TR), 600 mmH²O higher vacuum and a 100 L container (vs 60 L). It is the right choice for heavier dust, longer hose runs or higher operating hours -- but also requires three-phase 400 V and extra space.
How large is the container?
The ZFR 75 has a 100 L dust container -- twice as large as the ZFR EL MN/TR (60 L). Collection uses a synthetic safebag, so bag changes can occur without contact with the dust. Endless bag is not available on this model.
How much current does the ZFR 75 draw?
4 kW power at 400 V three-phase results in a current draw of 6.5 A -- the same as the ZFR EL TR despite the higher power, because three-phase load distributes current evenly across three phases. A standard industrial 16 A outlet normally covers this fully.
Can the ZFR 75 be used as a central vacuum?
Yes. The 100 L container and 3600 mmH²O peak vacuum make it well-suited to central installations where multiple suction points or longer pipe runs must be covered. The prerequisite is that the system is designed with appropriate pipe sizes and air distribution per Delfin's guidelines.
Is EN 17348:2022 self-certified or third-party assessed?
For ATEX category 3D, Directive 2014/34/EU permits manufacturer self-certification when the harmonised standard (EN 17348:2022) is followed. The ZFR 75 is therefore self-certified by Delfin -- not third-party assessed by a notified body. This is the normal approach for category 3 equipment and fully compliant with the directive.
