Questions and answers
Can a side-channel blower really run on single-phase power?
Yes, but it is a rarity in industry. Delfin developed the ZFR EL MN specifically to combine side-channel stability with single-phase 230 V supply. Current draw is higher than on the equivalent three-phase variant (12.8 A vs 6.9 A), but for smaller productions without three-phase mains, it is a valuable solution.
Why are two vacuum values shown on the datasheet?
The Delfin price list 2026 gives 2500 / 2100 mmH₂O for the ZFR EL MN. The model has a pressure relief valve as standard. The price list does not explain the two values further.
Which ATEX category does the ZFR EL MN have?
It is category 1/3D: the container interior is Zone 20, and the machine is used in external Zone 22. It complies with EN 17348 according to the Delfin price list 2026. The marking is II 1/3D Ex h IIIC T135°C (Int)/T195°C (ext) Da/Dc.
What is the difference between the ZFR EL MN and ZFR EL TR?
