Delfin ZFR EL TR (Zefiro EL Three-phase)
The Delfin ZFR EL TR (Zefiro EL Three-phase) is the three-phase variant of the Zefiro family: an ATEX-certified industrial vacuum with side-channel blower for Zone 22. With 3 kW power it delivers higher vacuum (3000 mmH²O peak / 2300 mmH²O with HEPA) than the single-phase ZFR EL MN, and is self-certified per EN 17348:2022 in category 3D. Suited to medium production areas with continuous or high-frequency operation.

Why choose the ZFR EL TR over the MN?
The TR (three-phase) delivers 3 kW power and approximately 500 mmH²O more vacuum than the MN variant. This matches needs for higher air velocity, longer hose runs or denser dust. If you have three-phase power in the premises, the TR is typically the right choice on the Zefiro platform.
Is the ZFR EL TR certified for Zone 21 or Zone 20?
No. The ZFR EL TR is categorised as 3D Dc, which only covers Zone 22. For Zone 21 with internal Zone 20, choose a 1/2D model such as the DM2 1/2D or DM2 EL 1/2D LP. For internal Zone 20, a 1/3D or 1/2D model must be used.
How loud is the ZFR EL TR?
Sound pressure is 76 dB(A) measured per EN ISO 3744. That is roughly the level of a vacuum-cleaner canister or a larger silenced compressor. For quieter environments, the MTL 20.18 is available at 70 dB(A).
Can I operate the ZFR EL TR continuously for 8-16 hours?
Yes. The side-channel blower is oil-free and has very long service life under continuous operation -- that is the reason the technology is preferred on the ZFR series over bypass or brushless motors. The pressure relief valve protects against overload from filter blockage.
What filtration is included as standard?
Star/pocket primary filter (polyester class M antistatic, 30,000 cm²) and standard class H HEPA filter with H14 efficiency (26,000 cm²). Both filters are integrated in the cabinet and can be replaced without special tools.
